We have been involved in a varied range of projects all with a strong focus on automation, process control and telemetry, whether it be industrial, commercial or residential.
irrigation project
We provided the design, installation programming and commissioning of a control system for a centre pivot irrigator for a cattle Station located in the remote Kimberley. The automated telemetry system is PLC controlled and provides remote monitoring back to Perth via Wonderware SCADA and Historian. The system records flow rates total flows compass bearing and soil moisture and Controls the fertigation pumps via variable speed drives(VSD) The control system allows for full remote access and records data for analysis. As part of this project we provide ongoing training and support.
electrical MECHANICAL,bUILDING mANAGEMENT SERVICES & security
ECA Systems provided the installation for the Electrical Mechanical Services and Building Management System, security access control and CCTV for the New Busselton Hospital in conjunction with Schneider Electric. The installation involved works to ten plant rooms and three operating theatres that included Variable speed Drives (VSD’s), temperature sensors, actuators, flow meters, pressure sensors, MSSB’s, and other associated instruments. The security systems included camera, door access control, duress alarms, door reed switches.
irrigation project
ECA Systems provided the design, installation and programming of an automated telemetry system for Rio Tinto’s Nammuldi Irrigation System in WA’s Pilbara region . The system included PLC control to 19 Centre Pivot Irrigation Units and associated instrumentation with telemetry control back to Rio Tinto’s SCADA monitoring system at the mine site and Perth. The system included solar battery UPS system, interface to Observant generator control system and interface to Reinke pivot control system.
Bottling Line
ECA Systems have been responsible for the PLC conveyor control system utilising Profibus and ASi technology interfacing the Variable Speed Drives (VSD) with push button controls and production line sensors. We have also installed and integrated the complete 6500/7000 bottle per hour bottling lines production plant at multiple locations throughout Australia. We have undertaken the design and installation of reticulation power and lighting systems, including the project management. We have provided ongoing maintenance and breakdown service for all facets of the operation.
RESIDENCE
We completed the C-Bus design and documentation for an tech advanced recent private Residence. ECA Systems also programmed the C- Bus system, factory tested, installed and commissioned. Factory testing ensure that when the system was installed onsite that the install was quick and easy, eliminating system errors. Also included in our scope of works was the design, documentation and installation of the security system, communications and data including fibre optics and access control. This system can be viewed and updated from anywhere in the world via a smart device.
